Sarah Liang, LMFT
Meet Sarah
Hello! I’m Sarah Liang (she/her), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Oregon and California. I offer individual therapy through telehealth. I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship and family concerns, trauma, life transitions, and other challenges that can make everyday life feel harder.
I believe therapy works best when it is shaped around your needs and strengths. Together, we can clarify what you hope will change and find practical ways to reduce distress while making room for growth.
You Might Be a Good Fit If...
You’re looking for a therapist who will work collaboratively with you and draw from different approaches to fit your goals. You may be:
Experiencing anxiety, depression, anger, or irritability.
Navigating conflict or changes within your family or relationships.
Working through trauma or a stressful life experience.
Seeking support with ADHD, bipolar disorder, or self-harming behaviors.
Adjusting to a major life transition.
Looking for support as a family.
How I Work
We’ll begin by understanding what is causing distress and what you would like to be different. I’ll help you identify strengths you already have, build useful skills, and explore patterns in your thoughts, behavior, and relationships. Our work can shift as your needs change.
My experience includes school-based, community, clinic, and virtual settings. I have worked with individuals across the lifespan, as well as with families and groups.
My Approach
I use an integrative approach that draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) · Solution-Focused Therapy · Humanistic Therapy · Family Systems Therapy.
I also have training in trauma-focused CBT, family therapy, chronic pain, child and adolescent ADHD evaluations, postpartum mental health, and safety planning.
