Associate Therapists
Applicants must hold a qualifying master’s degree and be registered, or eligible to register, with the Oregon licensing board for their profession.

Psychologist Residents
Applicants must meet the education and residency requirements of the Oregon Board of Psychology.

We’ll review your education, registration status, and supervision needs during the application process.

Each therapist-in-training is paired with a designated Clinical Supervisor to support their development and progress toward independent licensure.

Supervision includes:

• Individual supervision that meets or exceeds the requirements of your Oregon licensing board.

• Monthly group supervision in addition to required individual supervision.

• Support with clinical judgment, ethical decision-making, documentation, risk and safety, and professional development.

PSC covers the cost of supervision, and supervision time is part of your paid work. We’ll discuss your profession’s requirements and the proposed arrangement during the interview process.

Training clinicians are full-time, salaried, exempt W-2 employees of PSC.

Clinical commitment
The minimum clinical target is 15 service units per week. For caseload planning, a one-hour therapy session counts as one service unit.

Paid responsibilities
Your salary covers clinical services, documentation, consultation, care coordination, required weekly staff meetings, and clinical supervision.

Additional service units
Training clinicians who exceed their quarterly service-unit target may receive a payout for additional units

We’ll review salary details, caseload expectations, and how payouts work during the interview process.

We work with each therapist-in-training to develop a schedule and work location arrangement that supports client care, supervision, and life outside of work.

In-person, remote, or hybrid arrangements may be available, depending on practice needs, client availability, and supervision requirements.

Training clinicians may have less scheduling flexibility than independently licensed providers while building their caseloads. We’ll discuss available locations, workdays, hours, and scheduling expectations during the interview process.

Training clinicians are expected to:

• Provide thoughtful, ethical, and affirming client care.

• Participate in individual and group supervision.

• Attend required weekly staff meetings.

• Complete clinical documentation on time.

• Collaborate with colleagues on client care.

• Work toward the requirements for independent licensure.

Training positions are intended to last up to two years or until independent licensure, whichever comes first.

After licensure, you are welcome to apply for an available licensed clinician position at PSC. Completing the Clinical Training Program does not guarantee continued employment in a licensed role.

There is no expectation that you commit to staying at PSC after licensure. We want you to leave with stronger clinical skills and a clearer sense of the career you want to build.
