Meet Lysette
Hello! I’m Lysette Herrera, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington. I offer individual therapy in English and Spanish for teens and adults ages 16–65 through telehealth.
I support people navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, grief, immigration-related concerns, and life transitions. I aim to understand your experiences within the context of your life and culture, and to build a collaborative relationship where you feel seen, heard, and supported.

How I Work
I bring a client-centered and culturally responsive approach to therapy. We’ll start with what is most important to you, then work together to understand the challenges you’re facing and what you hope will change. Our work may include recognizing unhelpful thought patterns, exploring how past experiences affect the present, and finding ways to respond to life’s challenges that better support your well-being.
I believe meaningful work begins with a relationship where you feel safe, respected, and empowered. We’ll move at a pace that works for you and make room for the personal and cultural experiences that shape how you see yourself and the world.
My Approach
I draw from integrative approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy. CBT can help us identify and reshape thought patterns that contribute to distress. Psychodynamic work can help us explore underlying experiences and patterns that may be affecting your choices, relationships, or sense of self. I tailor our work to your needs and goals.
