Meet Justin

Hi, I’m Justin. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship concerns, and other patterns that may have once helped them cope but are no longer working as well.

I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to understand what matters to you, help you make sense of the patterns that are getting in your way, and work alongside you toward changes that feel meaningful and sustainable.

You Might Be a Good Fit If...

You may be a good fit for working with me if you:

  • Feel stuck in patterns of substance use or other coping strategies that are no longer serving you.

  • Experience anxiety, depression, or persistent worry.

  • Want to better understand your emotions or patterns in relationships.

  • Want practical tools while also understanding what may be underneath the patterns you are experiencing.

  • Appreciate a therapist who welcomes feedback and adjusts therapy based on what is and isn’t helping.

  • Want therapy to feel collaborative rather than like someone is telling you what you should do.

How I Work

I take a collaborative, client-centered approach to therapy. We’ll regularly check in about how therapy is going, what feels useful, and what may need to change. Your feedback is an important part of guiding our work together.

Sometimes our work may focus on concrete skills for managing anxiety, stress, relationships, or urges to return to familiar coping strategies. At other times, we may slow down and explore emotions, relationships, and past experiences to better understand patterns showing up in your life today.

I believe many people already have some sense of what might help them—but knowing what to do and actually being able to do it can be very different things. Therapy can help bridge that gap.

My Approach

My work is relational, collaborative, and grounded in your individual goals and experiences. I may incorporate mindfulness and body-based practices to help you slow things down, notice what is happening in the present moment, and develop different ways of responding.

I also draw from Motivational Interviewing, particularly when we are exploring substance use, behavior change, ambivalence, or situations where part of you wants something to change while another part may not be so sure.

Rather than assuming there is one right way forward, we’ll work together to understand what matters to you and identify changes that fit your life.
