Meet Kathryn

Hello! I’m Kathryn Conyers (she/her), a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon. I work with adults who may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in familiar patterns, or impacted by difficult past experiences.

I primarily support clients navigating anxiety, childhood and complex trauma, people-pleasing, perfectionism, work stress, relationship concerns, and life balance. Many of the people I work with have already developed insight into their experiences but are looking for support moving beyond understanding why they feel a certain way toward creating meaningful change.

You Might Be a Good Fit If...

You’re curious about yourself and open to exploring both present experiences and past patterns more deeply. You may be:

  • Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally dysregulated

  • Having difficulty managing stress or finding balance

  • Struggling with people-pleasing, codependency, or setting boundaries

  • Experiencing perfectionism or a persistent sense of not being “good enough”

  • Navigating relationships with emotionally immature parents or family members

  • Working through the lasting effects of relational or childhood trauma

  • Feeling stuck in patterns of thinking, feeling, or relating despite previous therapy

How I Work

My approach is trauma-informed, holistic, and grounded in the connection between mind, body, relationships, and context. Therapy with me focuses on building greater self-understanding, emotional regulation, and self-compassion while helping you identify and shift patterns that may no longer be serving you. Depending on your needs and goals, our work may include developing insight, identifying and processing emotions, exploring relationships and attachment patterns, strengthening mind-body awareness, and developing practical strategies for creating the life you want. When trauma processing is appropriate, we will approach it collaboratively and at a pace that considers your readiness, goals, and sense of safety.

My Approach

I integrate a range of evidence-based and experiential approaches rather than relying on a single model. My training and clinical approach include: Person-Centered Therapy · Emotion-Focused Therapy · Somatic Therapy · Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction · Mindful Self-Compassion · Internal Family Systems (IFS) · Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) · Psychodynamic and Attachment-Based Therapy · EMDR · Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) · Solution-Focused Therapy · Expressive and Creative Approaches
