Meet Tonia

Hello! I’m Tonia Weber (she/her), a Clinical Social Work Associate in Oregon practicing under the supervision of Matt Lauzon, LCSW. I offer individual therapy for adults ages 18 and older through telehealth and in person at Northwest Primary Care in Oregon City.

I support people navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship concerns, and difficulties with setting boundaries. I have a particular interest in working with people managing medical concerns or caring for a loved one. My background in primary care informs my understanding of how physical health, emotional well-being, and everyday circumstances affect one another.

You Might Be a Good Fit If...

You’re looking for a collaborative therapist who will take time to understand your experiences and adapt therapy to your needs. You may be:

  • Feeling anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, or emotionally depleted.

  • Managing an illness or adjusting to changes in your health.

  • Caring for a loved one and experiencing compassion fatigue.

  • Moving through grief, loss, or a significant life transition.

  • Struggling to set boundaries or navigate relationship concerns.

  • Experiencing suicidal thoughts and seeking support with safety planning.

  • Wanting to develop greater self-compassion and practical ways to support your well-being.

How I Work

I aim to create a space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing and feel comfortable telling me what is and isn’t helpful. I ask questions to understand you, welcome feedback, and see therapy as a partnership shaped by your strengths, needs, and goals.

Our sessions may include reflection, learning new skills, exploring relationships, and identifying steps you can take outside of therapy. I often begin by checking in on our previous conversation and end with a summary of what we discussed and what you might practice between sessions.

I take a holistic view of well-being, making room to explore self-compassion, mindfulness, boundaries, sleep, movement, and other aspects of daily life when they are relevant to your goals.

My Approach

My approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and grounded in understanding the connections between physical health, emotional experiences, relationships, and social circumstances. I draw from several approaches rather than relying on a single model:

Motivational Interviewing · Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) · Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) · Solution-Focused Therapy · Collaborative Problem Solving · Mindfulness · Psychoeducation

Together, we’ll explore which tools are useful to you and adjust our work as we learn what helps.
