Group Therapy

Weight Loss Support Group

This is an interpersonal process group for patients who are interested in weight loss via medication (e.g., GLP-1’s), surgery or other approach. Many patients have expressed a need for additional support and resources of how to manage their emotions, behaviors, and relationship with food while utilizing these tools. Participants will be invited to share their personal stories of weight challenges and successes while using these approaches. Each participant will be encouraged to arrive with curiosity, compassion, and readiness to share, and learn from the latest research.
