Postpartum Support Group

Supportive group to build support and gain tools to assist in navigating the early stage of parenthood.

People who would be a good fit would have had a baby within the last year, looking for increased support around managing the transition to parenthood, individuals lacking support, or struggling with symptoms that could be related to postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, bipolar disorder, or even symptoms of an adjustment disorder. Group will focus on information related to perinatal mental health disorders, cognitive coping strategies, relaxation strategies, boundary setting/asking for help, as well as exploration around this new identity as a parent.

  • What: 6-week therapy group

  • Where: Virtual (Zoom)

  • When: TBD based on referrals

  • Other: Open to Oregon residents ages 18+; Most insurances accepted.

Sarah Liang (she/her), LMFT is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who specializes in anxiety, mood concerns, stress/trauma, family conflict, parenting, and postpartum mental health. She sees the main focus of therapy to alleviate unwanted suffering and distress, and integrates various approaches to support people reach their full potential.
