Hi, I’m Noah Lavetter-Keidan (they/them), a Clinical Social Work Associate (CSWA) based in Oregon, working under the supervision of Molly Young, PsyD. I offer both in-person and virtual therapy sessions for adults ages 18–65.

Therapy with me is about finding ways to move through life that feel more free, more aligned with who you really are. So many of us have been shaped by trauma or marginalization—and that can make it hard to even know what we want, let alone how to move toward it. Maybe you’re feeling disconnected from your body, your desires, or your relationships. Maybe you're stuck in patterns that don’t feel good, but you’re not sure how to break out of them.

In our work together, we’ll slow down. We’ll reconnect to your body, your emotions, and your inner wisdom—that calm, grounded place inside that knows what’s right for you. Not just what makes sense on paper, or what you feel pushed to do, but what actually feels true.

Are you a good clinical fit?

In therapy with me, building a real connection comes first. I want you to feel like you can show up as yourself—yes, even the version of you that uses humor to get through hard stuff. It’s welcome here.

I’m a pretty active therapist, which means I won’t just sit back and nod. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to make sure I really get you, and I’ll offer activities that help you explore your goals in new ways. That could look like visualizations, inner child work, or even drawing—whatever helps bring your inner world into focus.

I tend to work especially well with folks who are deep thinkers—people who know what’s going on intellectually, but still feel stuck when it comes to actually shifting those patterns. If that sounds like you, you’re not alone. And we don’t have to figure it all out at once—we’ll take it one step at a time, together.

My Approach

In our sessions, we’ll slow things down and get curious—about your thoughts, your body, and the different “parts” of you that show up in everyday life. We’ll notice what’s going on with compassion, not judgment. Sometimes that means gently exploring patterns that no longer serve you, and sometimes it means tuning into the body to see what it’s trying to say.

I draw most from two approaches: Internal Family Systems (also called Parts Work) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Both are all about getting to know your inner world, making space for your emotions, and reconnecting with what really matters to you.

Clients have told me they appreciate that I offer a good mix of support and challenge—someone who’ll meet you with kindness and help you grow. Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you—it’s about helping you feel more connected to yourself and how you want to move through the world.

If you're curious, I’d love to meet you.

  • I have a Master’s in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, where I focused on clinical mental health and sexual health education. My work has often centered around helping people heal and build healthier relationships with themselves and others—especially those navigating life after sexual trauma, folks who have experienced sexual abuse, and current or former sex workers.

I'm also a certified sexuality educator through AASECT, and I’ve led workshops on topics like desire differences in relationships, kink, and asexuality. I believe that sexual health and mental health are deeply connected, and I approach both with care, respect, and curiosity.

As I continue to grow in this work, I'm planning to pursue certification as a sex therapist—because everyone deserves a safe space to explore their sexuality, heal from harm, and reconnect with what feels right for them.
