  • I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Arkansas. My doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) is from Pacific University. I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Oregon. I am a member of the American Psychosocial Oncology Society.

    I have worked in intensive outpatient, general outpatient, college counseling, and integrated healthcare settings with clients from age 18-80.

Hello! My name is Ethan Waranch (he/him), and I am a Licensed Psychologist (PsyD) in the state of Oregon. I see individuals (ages 18+) for both in-person at Northwest Primary Care Oregon City and virtual sessions.

My Approach

When working with client's I take a client-centered integrative approach. I attempt to fully understand my clients' whole experience of thoughts, behaviors, and emotions that lead to both their struggles and successes. My client's and I cooperate together to support them in gaining awareness into ways to make changes that can support their adaptation to everything in their present, both positive and negative. Generally I will support clients through depression, anxiety, trauma, and difficulties with medical concerns like cancer.

  • Interested in working together? Submit a prospective patient form and provide a brief description of why you are seeking services with Dr. Waranch. Our admin team will reach out to schedule a 50-60 minute intake and send our new client paperwork. The initial assessment is where we will discuss your current concerns, goals for therapy, and address if we are a good fit.

    If we are a good fit, we will schedule 45-60 minute follow up therapy sessions with the frequency and duration being specific to your goals for therapy.

  • Fill out the “Prospective Patient Form” and we will reach out within 48 hours.

  • Your access to services depends on things like whether you prefer in-person or telehealth, your available days and times, your age, your insurance coverage, your concerns, and the type of services you’re looking for. Being flexible can help you get an appointment sooner!

  • Intake

    Starts with an assessment (50-55 minutes). You will chat about your current situation, your history, and goals. A plan for treatment will be made with your goals and plan for follow up

    Follow-up Appointments

    Appointments last 30-55 minutes. We'll start by understanding your concerns and work together toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you. As symptoms improve, the frequency will reduce.

    • In-Network: AETNA, Cigna, Kaiser, MODA, PacificSource, Providence Health Plans and Regence BCBS.

    • Self pay available.

  • 48-Hour Cancellation Policy

    • $75 Therapy Appointment

    • $20 Group Appointment

    • $100 Medication Appointment

    • HIPAA secured, telehealth therapy via ZOOM is available for all clients.

    • In-Person services available at our 4 locations.

  • Business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Office staff are available for scheduling during business hours only.

    All providers keep their own schedule with some offering evening or weekend hours.
